Asmara — The National School Leaving Examination results of the current academic years has been announced today 25 July 2016.
According to the report from the Commission for Higher Education Testing Center, 11% of the participants of the national secondary school leaving examination scored results for degree program while 14% are for diploma and 15% secured marks for certificate. All in all, 39% of the students have been promoted to tertiary education.
Covering 14 subjects, the national examination was conducted from 14-19 March 2016 at Warsay Yikealo Secondary School in Sawa, University of Asmara, technical schools of Dembesko, Mai-Habar and Wina, Hagaz Agricltural School, international schools of Eritrean communities in Riyad and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as well as in penitentiary centers in the Central Region.
