FOCUS: RTE LAUNCHES ONLINE GUIDE TO MONITORING THE RIGHT TO EDUCATION USING HUMAN RIGHTS INDICATORS
The Right to Education Project is pleased to announce the publication of an onlineGuide to Monitoring the Right to Education and an accompanying Right to Education Indicators Selection Tool. We have produced the Guide and Tool to demystify and simplify the monitoring process and help all those engaging in education advocacy to gather credible and relevant evidence of violations of the right to education (using human rights indicators) which can then be used as a basis upon which to advocate for change, in line with human rights law and principles. Access the monitoring subsite, here.
For an overview of the Guide and Tool, read our blog post.
The Guide and Tool are intended to be the definitive reference point for all those engaged in education monitoring. However, to achieve this we need your help! In the future we plan to develop and improve the Guide and Tool in collaboration with civil society. If you are interested in helping us in this process or have any feedback, please contact us at: info@right-to-education.org.
